2022 NZ Skateboard Nationals

Skateboarding New Zealand and Tairawhiti Adventure Trust proudly present the 2022 Skateboard Nationals for Park and Street. Gisborne, November 3-6, 2022 (competition days November 4-5).

Event dates:

  • Thursday, November 3, 2022 – 4-7 pm, Rider registration (in person)
  • Friday, November 4, 2022 – 8:30 am – 5 pm, Qualification (all disciplines)
  • Saturday, November 5, 2022 – 8:30 am – 6 pm, Semi-finals and Finals (all disciplines)
  • Sunday, November 6, 2022 – Rain day (all riders should expect to skate on this day. eg. Non-travel day)

Divisions:

  • Park – Men’s Open
  • Park – Women’s Open
  • Street – Men’s Open
  • Street – Women’s Open

Prize money:

(For all four divisions – Park and Street, Female and Male)

  • 1st place = $1000
  • 2nd place = $500
  • 3rd place = $250

Important info:

  • Entry is $27 (Entry fee goes towards prize money)
  • All registrations must be received before Friday, October 21, 2022 – *Extended to Thursday, November 3, 2022
  • Due to scheduling, registrations will not be accepted after this date or on event days
  • The Skateboard Nationals is an Open format (no age divisions)
  • All Street athletes under 18 years old and all Park athletes are required to wear a helmet
  • There will be youth events on both days of the competition
