Matt Markland is heading to Lausanne, Switzerland, to represent New Zealand alongside some of the world’s finest skateboarders at the World Skate Tour Street event from the 9th to the 16th of September.

He hopes to secure more points towards qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Matt attended the World Street Championships in Rome in July 2022, ranking him 91 in the world skate rankings. He has accumulated 550 points so far. Matt also attended the STU Open in Rio De Janeiro in October 2022. Since then, he has been training and competing in Australia, where he is now based, preparing for this upcoming event.
